Crops for Critters

Animals need vegetables too - and they like them. In fact - many eat nothing but vegetables! You know your pets better then we do, so we don't generally offer advice on feeding, we just suggest seed combinations and help you sprout successfully. Look around the web for others who live with the same creatures you do - if you haven't already. There is a lot of information out there about Birds and sprouts, and Grass is commonly known to be enjoyed by cats. Dogs, Bunnies, Hamsters, Turtles, Iguanas - well - those are just a few of the critters that enjoy what we offer. Don't let the names fool you - many other creatures enjoy the sprouts listed on this page, but like we said - you know your friends better then we do, but we know how to sprout =:-D

The name of the bird mixes indicates the general size of the seeds in it. Any mix is fine for any bird.

All of our seeds are for human consumption, so your other-than-human friend is only getting the best.

This is our list of Critter Crop Kits and Samplers.

A Sampler is comprised of 5 Single Harvest Packs.
A Single Harvest Pack - in this case - contains the amount of seed needed to produce a Sprout crop of about 1/2 pound, or a Grass or Greens crop that fills 25 square inches.

A Kit is comprised of Seeds and one or more Sprouters, to sprout the seeds in, as well as other items, in some cases.

A simple package for the bird lover. A wise bird person tells us that all of the mixes are all fine for all birds. A larger bird will consume smaller seeds more quickly than a smaller bird will consume larger seeds.
The Big Bird has some large seeds. The Lil' Bird has the smallest seeds ..... The Mid Bird has .... well - you get it.

An Easy Sprout Sprouter and 2 pounds of 4 Legs of Love, sprout mix for dogs.

A simple package for the dog guardian. We have always had dogs, and our dogs have always eaten sprouts as part of their diet. We find it most efficient to grind the sprouts (we have a mini food processor) just before feeding, and mix them in - thoroughly. That way even your finicky dogs won't be able to pick them out. If your dog is not finicky, there is no reason to grind them.
