The least expensive, most basic sprouter, Jars - when topped by Screen Lids, are a fine choice for any skilled sprouter or for those willing to work a bit more diligently at rinsing and draining, or as an additional Sprouter, for easy sprouts, like Beans and Grains. A great choice for Pre-Sprouting Grass and Greens too!

Fine mesh, Medium mesh and Coarse mesh.
Our 3-Screen Lid Set is made up of Stainless Steel Mesh - in 3 different mesh sizes (fine, medium and course) - each nestled in a heavy-duty Plastic Ring. Our Screen Lids fit Wide-Mouth Jar Mason Jars, like those we sell.

The wider the mesh - the more readily water and air pass through the screen. Use the fine mesh (the finest mesh size ever!) for small seeds (Leafy and Brassica sprouts), the medium mesh for Grains and small Beans and the coarse mesh for large Beans.
As your sprouts grow bigger, you can move to a bigger mesh size to improve air-circulation and facilitate the escape of hulls, thus making de-hulling easier.

This single Stainless Steel Screen Lid is Medium Mesh. It will work wonderfully for all but the tiniest seeds (Amaranth and Celery.

The ring that secures this lid to a jar is one of our perfect fit, heavy duty, bright white Plastic Rings.

This Tray has Drainage Slits. It is good for small crops of Greens, Grass, and Micro-Greens. We use it as both a Planting Tray and a Cover Tray. 8 of these 5x5 inch Trays fit into one 10x20 Drip Tray, giving you almost as much planting area as a full 10x20 Planting Tray - which can produce 1-3 pounds of Greens, or enough Grass to yield 10-20 ounces of Juice.

The narrow drainage slits in this Tray are perfect for any Growing Medium - and when used as a cover - for air-circulation.

All of our Trays are intended for growing Greens, Grass, and Micro-Greens, but it is possible to grow big sprouts in this one, thanks to it having drainage slits on its ends. We grew everything in Trays during our time as professional growers, but I'm sorry to tell you that we have no specific instructions on our site for this. If you are determined to try; you can follow the SproutMaster instructions, and figure out the small differences on your own. One of these days we will tell you more @:-)

Baby Blanket is our favorite soilless growing medium. It is ideal for growing Micro-Greens to the Cotyledon stage. It is a thin (1/8th inch) pad which holds water amazingly well. This piece fits in our 5x5 Growing Tray. It is least expensive to cut your own - so consider buying Baby Blanket in bulk.

Kelp is a wonderful organic fertilizer - which gives your Grass, Greens and Micro-Greens everything they need to grow fast and strong - and delicious. Saltwater Farms SeaCom PGR is a concentrate. This bottle makes up to 50 gallons of Kelp Fertilizer! Dilute with water and spray it on your plants, soak Baby Blanket, STG Pads, Vermiculite or other soilless medium prior to planting - and even soak your regular sprouting seeds in it!
