Kelp is a wonderful organic fertilizer - which gives your Grass, Greens and Micro-Greens everything they need to grow fast and strong - and delicious. Saltwater Farms SeaCom PGR is a concentrate. This bottle makes up to 50 gallons of Kelp Fertilizer! Dilute with water and spray it on your plants, soak Baby Blanket, STG Pads, Vermiculite or other soilless medium prior to planting - and even soak your regular sprouting seeds in it! Vermiculite is a soilless growing medium that holds water amazingly well. It is wonderful medium for growing Grass and Greens, as well as Micro-Greens. Clean, odorless, mold resistant and sterile, Vermiculite is on the list of approved planting mediums in the National Organic Standards. Vermiculite works very very well with liquid fertilizers (like our Kelp) due to it's amazing moisture retention and because it provides a steady release of any added fertilizers.

Tencel Sure To Grow Pads are a thin soilless growing medium. It is ideal for growing Micro-Greens to the Cotyledon stage. It is a thin (1/8th inch) pad which holds water extremely well. This piece fits in our 10x20 Growing Tray. Personally, we prefer Baby Blanket, but some folks swear by this stuff.

Here we have a pack of four pads, designed specifically for use with The Miniature Garden Sprouter.
These pads are the one medium that you can re-use. They hold water very well and are easy to handle.
This pack of pads also includes four tiny packets of seed, from the manufacturer of The Miniature Garden.
We also sell Baby Blanket Pads - which are cut to the same dimensions. They are not re-useable, but they are much less expensive.
Earthworm Castings are a necessary ingredient in the growing of Sunflower Greens, and Micro-Greens - when grown to the True Leaf stage. Worm Castings offer more nitrogen to the growing plants, which dramatically improves the quality of the crop. They grow more rapidly, more evenly and they shed their hulls more readily, and their flavor is perfection - in our opinion.
