This is our Organic Broccoli.  The most famous sprout in America.  Mild flavor, mild crunch, big time nutrition, and a whole bunch of antioxidants.  Easy to grow - but Broccoli is a cool weather crop - so if you grow it in hot & humid conditions add a 3rd Rinse/Drain, daily - or wait for cooler weather.

Note: This is the same seed we sell for Broccoli Micro-Greens. This Broccoli is from a source which is certified organic!

FREE SHIPPING on domestic orders $60 and up.

Famous for it's antioxidant content. Broccoli sprouts can contain something like 50 times the sulfurophane found in mature broccoli, by weight, so you get as much antioxidant in 1 ounce of Broccoli Sprouts as you would if you ate 3 pounds of fully grown Broccoli (Broccoli sprouts were patented! We're just relating what the published research (©Johns Hopkins University 1997) states). Broccoli is a very tasty sprout - it is the fresh vegetable our son liked best, until he became a teenager @;-D

We spent over 13 years testing organic broccoli seed. Only once in all those years did we find any that sprouted well and tasted great. Finally we have found some more! We hope we can get this fantastic seed for years to come - well - it won't be the same seed - what I mean is that we hope the farmer who produced this lot of seed will produce great lots for years to come. Being the loyal folks we are, we will continue to offer our long loved conventional Broccoli as well.

Also great for Micro-Greens

Very mild cabbagey flavor with the slightest bit of tang. Broccoliee!

Our current Lot of Organic Broccoli is awesome!  It has a very high germination rate and sprouts faster than your average Broccoli.  It has a mild cabbagey flavor with the slightest tang.  Some people will tell you that the tang is an indication of high antioxidant content, but that is just plain false.  I am particularly fussy about flavor and for many years I refused to sell Organic Broccoli because it was too spicy.  When I finally found a stable source of Organic Broccoli from a farmer I loved, I decided the time was right.  We have now had Organic Broccoli for several years and this farmer has proven himself time and time again - but the flavor does vary somewhat crop to crop.  Our previous lot was the tangiest we'd ever offered, but it was a good sprouter and once I have a relationship with a farmer I am very loyal - so we offered it with a note here that said it was spicier than usual.  I am particularly thrilled to be able to share this seed.  It is the best of the best Organic Broccoli and it has a wonderful flavor.

Seed Shelf Life: 5 years. Store in cool, dark, dry spot. Store in freezer to extend shelf life.

  • With diligence these give great results
I've eaten broccoli sprouts daily for several years. When they were available in my grocery store (very small organic sprouter selling only locally), I bought them there, but both before that time and after it ended I've sprouted my own. These are very good seeds. With strict attention to getting all the water out after rinses, I get very good results using only the simple jar method.

  • A little more work - but worth it!
I have been sprouting for a little over a year. I tried seeds from several vendors and find sproutpeople to be hands down THE BEST! I had some trouble with these broccoli seeds when I first tried them but I emailed for help and Gill got back to me in no time with all the answers I needed. My crops have been great since. Thanx for the education! All you really need to do is watch his video. I probably wouldn't have emailed questions if I had watched it first but I ended up learning other useful stuff. Gill writes emails like he makes videos and this web site. He's long winded but really detailed. Go sproutpeople!

  • One of the most healthy sprouts you can eat.
I was nervous to try sprouting my own sprouts. But I took a chance and got some broccoli sprouts. First off, sprouting is EASY! Secondly, broccoli sprouts are delicious! I compared my first batch to store bought and mine were so much better. There was no comparison. Once you start sprouting your own you will never go back to store bought.

  • Awesome Sprouts!!
The best broccoli sprouts!!! You cannot go wrong with the amazing health benefits of these sprouts. Plus, the Sprout People make a wonderful Utube video to follow, so you can't go wrong growing these wonderful sprouts. One tablespoon of these sprouts equals one pound of raw broccoli! Thank you for making it so easy to get my veggie intake!!!

  • healthy and delicious
I've tried several different seed sellers broccoli seeds but sproutpeople has the best by far. They sprout really well and they taste way better than any others I've grown. They are sweet and taste like cabbage. All the others I've grown from other places are too spicy - and none grow nearly as big a crop.
