- Soak8 - 12 hoursThe amount of time your seeds should soak in cool water. Soaking is how we begin the sprouting process in most cases.
- Rinse / Drain2 times per dayHow often your seeds should be watered. Rinsing thoroughly and then draining as much water as possible are key components to growing great sprouts.
- Harvest2 - 3 daysThe time it takes to grow a finished Sprout, or other crop (Micro-Greens, Grass, Greens) from a dry Seed. Note: This "finished" Sprout is our preference. you may grow them for as long as you want! In fact, we suggest that you taste them at every rinse to discover when you like them best.
- Yield3.5 to 1The amount of Sprouts, Grass, Greens or Micro-Greens produced by 1 unit of Seed. For Example 2:1 means that 1 pound of Seed will produce 2 pounds of Sprouts or whatever crop you are growing. You do not have to grow them all at once of course, unless you wish to =:-D

I mix in a tablespoon of these sprouts with Lacey's and Betty's bowl of SoJo's (a great raw food made in MN) in the morning and they don't mind at all. Lacey looked at me funny the first time like she knew I had changed something, but decided to let it pass and kept eating happily. I sprinkle a large handful on my salads and the mix tastes great - adds some crunch and protein and lots of other nutrition. They sprout well in an Easy Sprouter if you follow the directions on this website.
I bought these for my dogs to go along with their raw feeding......I just mix some into their food. And I was happy to learn humans can eat them also, as they are very delicious!
These are fantastic! Best mix so far although I do like the french mix...I kind of bought these with my dog in mind but he won't touch ANYTHING fresh except meat. So I don't have to share!
I have been eating sprouts for over 3 years now and with dealing with this company for just as long. I have never had a bad batch of seeds from here for they always sprouted. I like to mix and match my sprouts so Im putting my review here cause 4 legs I use as my base sprouts and are my favorite. My recipe for 5 days, 3 tablespoons of 4 legs, 1 tablespoon of beanie's, 1 tablespoon of amber waves of grains. With this sprout mix, 3/4 fill a pint mason jar and mix with any vinaigrette, honey mustard dressing or my favorite, blue cheese dressing. You can't compare it for price either. I found a store selling sprouts in the same size jars I eat mine. They wanted $6 each.
So delicious! I bought this mix for my dog and wish I had ordered twice as much. It is amazingly good and goes great with other mixes or by itself. I eat it by the bowl. This is the first sprout experience for me and my dog (12 year old pit bull) and it was love at first taste for us both.
I didn't order enough. My dog really likes this stuff, even eats what falls out of his bowl onto the floor. Next time I'll order 2 pounds.
Out of our four small and medium dogs, our two "littles" LOVE these sprouts. I have to make sure they each get their fair share. Since this mix is gluten free, I also enjoy it's yummy, nutty flavor on a salad occasionally! This is a great, healthy treat for those who like them.
My youngish Lab girl and elderly beagle love these in their food morning and night. I give a handful whole to the Lab (gone in two seconds). The beagle is finicky so I chop his a few times and mix in with his food. Nary a sprout leftover from either one and this mix keeps them pretty regular.
I purchased this mix to introduce my two small dogs to sprouting. They are new to sprouting (as am I) and I was hoping they would love it. It might be because they are unfamiliar with the taste and texture; but they pushed the sprouts around the food bowl unstead of eating them. (I do have to say, however, that our terrier mix went gaga over the mustard and broccoli sprouts and couldn't stop eating them.)
I tried them and have to say that they are FANSTASTIC when mixed with Olive Oil, Curry and Sea Salt. They had a great crunchy texture. They also complimented a batch of short grain bown rice very nicely. T
Will try giving them to the dogs again
The 4 legs for dogs is my families all-time favorite sprout. We all eat it daily!
