Research has shown that antioxidant content can increase when certain sprouts grow together. We base our mixes on taste, texture and growth rate for the most part, but we considered "science" too, when we made this mix up. All of the seeds in Long Life Mix come from sources which are certified organic. Note: We sell Long Life Mix by the 1/2 pound, and it can also be used to grow Long Life Micro-Greens.

- Soak6 - 12 hoursThe amount of time your seeds should soak in cool water. Soaking is how we begin the sprouting process in most cases.
- Rinse / Drain2 - 3 times per dayHow often your seeds should be watered. Rinsing thoroughly and then draining as much water as possible are key components to growing great sprouts.
- Harvest3 - 6 daysThe time it takes to grow a finished Sprout, or other crop (Micro-Greens, Grass, Greens) from a dry Seed. Note: This "finished" Sprout is our preference. you may grow them for as long as you want! In fact, we suggest that you taste them at every rinse to discover when you like them best.
- Yield5 to 1The amount of Sprouts, Grass, Greens or Micro-Greens produced by 1 unit of Seed. For Example 2:1 means that 1 pound of Seed will produce 2 pounds of Sprouts or whatever crop you are growing. You do not have to grow them all at once of course, unless you wish to =:-D

This is my husband's favorite mix, especially on tacos. Dare I tell him how good it is for him?! Worth every penny! A beautiful mix to grow in a jar. SproutPeople has changed our eating habits forever! Thank you!
Delightful blend of nutrient-dense sprouts. We grow broccoli sprouts a decent amount, and this is a great way to shake it up a bit :) Thank you for this healthy, thoughtful mix of organic brassicas!
This blend is an extraordinary mix of some of the most nutritionally powerful food out there. 17 different brassicas working together! This is part of what's so special about SproutPeople - I haven't seen any mix like this anywhere else. While the cost may appear high, for me it's a bargain because of how they're protecting my health. I also add them into other leafy sprout mixes for an extra boost.
Great on salads!
Loving this sprout mix. It tastes fantastic and it is fun to watch the mix grow! Usually we get a spicy sprout mix, but this is our new favorite.
It might be expensive but I find a little goes a long way for this one. I put it on my avocado and eggs in the morning, in my salads at lunch and even in my soups at dinner! I like this mix in the soups because it has such a pop of flavor and doesn't wilt into the soup. It has a spicy kick but just enough to add a lot to a basic meal.
Lots of different flavors come out in this mix! I love it.
I'd give 5 stars except that it is so expensive. Long life is great tasting with mostly mild flavors but the occasional kick of spice. Radish I think.
I tried long life after getting good at growing broccoli sprouts. It is just as easy to grow but it did take me a few batches to get good at growing because I wasn't draining enough. It tastes even better then the broccoli. Now I grow one tablespoon of long life and 2 tablespoons of broccoli together. It is less spicy but really good that way.
