Are your seeds organic?
Yep, every one of them. Our seeds are certified organic by Ecocert Canada (218963) and always non-GMO.
Are they safe to sprout?
We take that seriously. Every lot is germination-tested and pathogen-tested before it ships, under FSSC 22000 food safety certification. That's the same standard big food manufacturers are held to, applied to your lil' bag of seeds.
I've never sprouted before. Is it hard?
Not even a little. Soak, rinse, drain, repeat, and in a few days you're eating. Every seed comes with its own step-by-step instructions, and we've written hundreds of pages of growing help, free whether you shop with us or not.
Will I like them?
We think so! We've been sprouting since 1993, and we eat the same seeds we sell. And if something goes sideways, we'll help you figure it out and make it right. That's the Happy Sprouts Promise.
Do I need special equipment?
Nope. A jar with a screen lid works just fine. Whatever you use, it has to let your sprouts breathe and let water drain out completely. Each seed page lists the sprouters we think work best for it.
