Fenugreek Sprouts

Used as a spice in Indian food and as a digestive aid by Americans, Fenugreek is a very fragrant, super nutritious sprout. Fenugreek is especially good for women.

A touch of bitter that pairs beautifully with sweet dressing

The amount of Fenugreek Sprouts produced by 1 unit of Seed. For Example 2:1 means that 1 pound of Seed will produce 2 pounds of Sprouts or whatever crop you are growing. You do not have to grow them all at once of course, unless you wish to =:-D

The time it takes to grow a finished 4 - 6 days, or other crop (Micro-Greens, Grass, Greens) from a dry Seed. Note: This "finished" Sprout is our preference. you may grow them for as long as you want! In fact, we suggest that you taste them at every rinse to discover when you like them best.

A minor obsession

These are generally too bitter to eat by themselves, but I sneak a few into almost anything else that I am sprouting.

Great for Beginners

Adds extra fiber to the diet guys. I start eating them at 36 hours, and I don't mind the hulls through day three. I agree with the maple-y fragrance reviewer, most notable starting on day four (in case they are not already completely consumed). Unfortunately the hulls wick water away from the tails around that time, becoming slimy =). They do better with extra long rinsing. The bitterness increases with light. I put a tiny fraction of mung beans in with them for some more protein and crunch.

Fast sprouting

Love Fenugreek sprouts. These sprout quickly using a mason jar method. I make a stir fry with them; Fenugreek 3-way with fenugreek sprouts, fenugreek powder and Kasoori Methi (sun-dried fenugreek leaves)
