An explosion of flavors, textures and colors. Wonderful peanut crunchiness. Awesome, unique stirfries. Great in salads or as just a snack right out of the sprouter.

The amount of San Francisco Sprout Mix produced by 1 unit of Seed. For Example 2:1 means that 1 pound of Seed will produce 2 pounds of Sprouts or whatever crop you are growing. You do not have to grow them all at once of course, unless you wish to =:-D

The time it takes to grow a finished 2 - 4 days, or other crop (Micro-Greens, Grass, Greens) from a dry Seed. Note: This "finished" Sprout is our preference. you may grow them for as long as you want! In fact, we suggest that you taste them at every rinse to discover when you like them best.

Great breakfast

This mix probably doesn't need more reviews but I couldn't resist. I have been eating this for breakfast for years. I soak for 12 hours then rinse and then after letting it sit in a sprouter for 12 hours after that first rinse after soaking, it's done and I put it right in the fridge. So basically it takes 24 hours to be ready for us to eat. I scoop it dry into a small bowl and just eat it completely dry and plain with a spoon for breakfast and it's fantastic. The spoon helps me get the small lentils otherwise I would just eat it by hand like trail mix. We also use it for veggie burgers a lot. We basically just substitute it for the beans in any vegan veggie burger recipe that we are using at the time and it works great. My kids also frequently get a handful to eat when they first get up in the morning before they eat breakfast. None of us have ever felt the need to season it since it is so good plain but we do also throw it into recipes whenever we have some in the fridge and are making a salad or Buddha bowl or stir fry or curry etc. It's extremely versatile.

One of my favorite sprout mixes! Enjoy it by the handfuls like popcorn, lol. I sprout a lot of San Francisco Sprout Mix to complement my microgreen salads. You won't be disappointed!

SF Sprout Mix

The San Francisco Sprout mix is my very favorite of the being / lentil type mixes. It's sprouts quickly and tastes great. I always eat it cold like a salad, rather than lightly sauteing it with other foods. Usually I use balsamic vinegar and cold pressed olive oil on it. Occasionally, I just lightly salt it and eatit as a snack.
