best way to sprout

I started with a small kit like this. I was most successful with the jar and screen version of making sprouts, and micro greens are next. (I have tried other types of sprouters and only grew a slimy mess.)
Although storing seeds carefully is crucial, mine lasted well over a year with good yields. This method and the mixes both work. Trust the directions. :-)

Best of the Best all in one place

We have the large and small SSSs and they are our favorites. We get the biggest and tallest yields from the seeds we always get from Sproutpeople using these sprouters. Extensively we use the soilless method for the Long Life mix. ( I used to order the individual seeds in this mix and make my own, but the Long Life mix is sooooooo much easier and simpler. Once we run out of the individual seeds, we will stick to the mixes. We also use the SSSs for growing sunflower greens in soil (coir and organic potting mix) and the crops are fantastic. The size of the SSSs are perfect for hanging on the wall in front of the sink and under the flood light there. Very happy sprouting folks.
