A simple package for the bird lover. A wise bird person tells us that all of the mixes are all fine for all birds. A larger bird will consume smaller seeds more quickly than a smaller bird will consume larger seeds, but by all means choose which you want us to send - using the pull-down menu. The Big Bird has some large seeds. The Lil' Bird has the smallest seeds ..... you get it. Dr. Bird costs a little more.

The Sprouter
One Easy Sprout Sprouter
Overwhelmingly our most popular sprouter, Easy Sprout is also our personal favorite. We have well over a dozen in our house. It offers great drainage and the best air-circulation of any sprouter.
Easy Sprout is made up of a 1 Quart (litre) Growing Vessel, a Solid container/Base that catches excess Rinse water, a Small Seed Insert that snaps in when sprouting small seeds, two Growing Lids (1 for home (Domed) and 1 for the road (Flat)), and a Solid Lid for refrigerator storage of your sprout crop.
Easy Sprout is the best all-around sprouter. Period. It is the mandatory choice for high humidity sproutpeople everywhere and great for travel sprouting! Very versatile - Easy Sprout can sprout virtually any seed, anywhere!

We have a flock of 12 birds ranging from small to medium size, and they all LOVE fresh sprouts. I have 2 (soon to be 3!) sprouters going at all times, and all of our birds get fresh sprouts every morning along with veggie chop and some other treats. The Mid Bird is our favorite, although I sprout the Lil, Big, and Dr occasionally too for variety. I sprout them a day or two longer than some people, I think, as our birds really like the little plant part as well as the sprouted seed itself. The quality of the seeds are amazing and we get close to a 100% sprout rate every time. Thank you, Sproutpeople!

I had read a lot about the benefits of sprouted seeds for Gouldian Finches, but was having a hard time (a) finding a fresh and appropriate seed mix and (b) figuring out how to sprout them. The more I read about this site and their products, the more I felt I had finally found a quality product. I was on the fence about buying the sprouter (really did NOT want another gadget) but decided to do so and am glad I did. It's super easy and I'm amazed at how many of the seeds sprout. I'm not sure if that's a reflection on the seeds or the sprouter, but they work well together and I'm so happy I found this set! I definitely plan to keep buying the little bird seeds and may even switch up mixes to give my birds some variety.
