The most famous sprout in America.  Mild flavor, mild crunch, and big time nutrition.  Easy to grow - but Broccoli is a cool weather crop - so if you grow it in hot & humid conditions add a 3rd Rinse/Drain, daily - or wait for cooler weather.

Note: This is the same seed we sell for Broccoli Micro-Greens.

This Broccoli is from a farmer who is certified organic!

FREE SHIPPING on domestic orders $60 and up.

Sprouting Directions

  • Soak 8 - 12 hours
  • Rinse / Drain 2 - 3 times per day
  • Harvest 3 - 6 days

Johns Hopkins University made a variety of broccoli famous for its antioxidant content. According to their research, broccoli sprouts can contain up to 50 times the sulfurophane found in mature broccoli, by weight. You get as much nutrition in 1 ounce of Broccoli Sprouts as you would if you ate 3 pounds of fully grown Broccoli. We're just relating the published research (©The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Brassica Chemoprotection Laboratory and Department of Pharmacology and Molecular Sciences,1997).  Broccoli is a very tasty sprout too - it is the fresh vegetable our son liked best, until he became a teenager @;-D

Also great for Micro-Greens

Very mild cabbagey flavor with the slightest bit of tang. Broccoliee!

Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Zinc Carotene, Chlorophyll, Trace Elements, Amino Acids, Antioxidants

Our current Lot of Broccoli is the finest Broccoli seed we've ever seen!  It has a very high germination rate and sprouts faster than your average Broccoli.  It has a mild cabbagey flavor and lasted so long in our storage tests (refrigerated sprouts), it was almost absurd (6 plus weeks).   We are particularly thrilled to be able to share this seed.

  • Wonderful sprouts
I purchased a few samplers, and the broccoli sprouts were the first I tried. I'm hooked! Fun and easy to start and grow; fresh and tasty to eat! Favorite use so far: on top of good toast with mashed avocado, a squeeze of lemon, and salt & pepper.

  • Ordering again!
Thanks Sprout People- I'm using your seeds while on chemo to naturally fight cancer.
I'm married to a horticulturist who was so pleased with your seeds. They GROW, whereas only 25% of the seeds from our local organic market sprouted. Thx too for the utube video- showing importance of shaking, shaking, shaking after rinsing.

  • With diligence these give great results
I've eaten broccoli sprouts daily for several years. When they were available in my grocery store (very small organic sprouter selling only locally), I bought them there, but both before that time and after it ended I've sprouted my own. These are very good seeds. With strict attention to getting all the water out after rinses, I get very good results using only the simple jar method.

  • A little more work - but worth it!
I have been sprouting for a little over a year. I tried seeds from several vendors and find sproutpeople to be hands down THE BEST! I had some trouble with these broccoli seeds when I first tried them but I emailed for help and Gill got back to me in no time with all the answers I needed. My crops have been great since. Thanx for the education! All you really need to do is watch his video. I probably wouldn't have emailed questions if I had watched it first but I ended up learning other useful stuff. Gill writes emails like he makes videos and this web site. He's long winded but really detailed. Go sproutpeople!

  • One of the most healthy sprouts you can eat.
I was nervous to try sprouting my own sprouts. But I took a chance and got some broccoli sprouts. First off, sprouting is EASY! Secondly, broccoli sprouts are delicious! I compared my first batch to store bought and mine were so much better. There was no comparison. Once you start sprouting your own you will never go back to store bought.

  • Awesome Sprouts!!
The best broccoli sprouts!!! You cannot go wrong with the amazing health benefits of these sprouts. Plus, the Sprout People make a wonderful Utube video to follow, so you can't go wrong growing these wonderful sprouts. One tablespoon of these sprouts equals one pound of raw broccoli! Thank you for making it so easy to get my veggie intake!!!

  • healthy and delicious
I've tried several different seed sellers broccoli seeds but sproutpeople has the best by far. They sprout really well and they taste way better than any others I've grown. They are sweet and taste like cabbage. All the others I've grown from other places are too spicy - and none grow nearly as big a crop.
