Peas come in multiple colors and various sizes. They are all beautiful and delicious!

This Pea ranges from yellow to light and dark green in color. It is the biggest Pea and its shape varies, being anywhere from round to almost square.

About

Marrowfat Peas are a big (our biggest) Pea, light green in color, odd shaped (not round), and the most tender of all Sprouted Peas. They are used in the United Kingdom to make a dish called Mushy Peas which we think is actually quite good. We of course, prefer sprouting them. They are wonderful!

Flavor
A little sweet, a little bitter, very fresh. Marrowfats have a sorta meaty texture. Great as sprouts or cooked into Mushy Peas (a common side dish in England).

Notes
Marrowfats are always cool, but I like this crop even better than most. Lots of variety in size and shape 9which is good in this one seed) and all nice and plump. Seed Shelf Life: 5 years. Store in cool, dark, dry spot. Store in freezer to extend shelf life.
